Every year, I get excited to see what new Halloween decor items hit the stores. It’s fun to see what’s trending and the spin and twist the market puts on the traditional spooky home decor items.
Below is a list of some of my favorite finds across some of my favorite stores. Add one or a few of these to your home this year to freshen up your look!

Halloween decor: New finds for your home this year
Halloween Decor
spooky additions for your home
For Halloween, I like my decor to be creepy but chic at the same time. The skeleton hand glasses are a perfect example of this. The design of the glasses is simple and chic while the zinc alloy skeleton hand adds the perfect amount of creepy. They also had champagne flutes and a punch bowl to match.
We used to have a hanging life-size skeleton that Mike used in school. We would pull it out every year for Halloween and style it. Such a conversation piece and perfect for Halloween parties.
The Black Buri Spider caught my eye and they had multiple sizes available for sale. And, you can’t go wrong with a skull. I have a couple and I’m thinking about adding this Black Mercury Glass one to my collection.
Below are a few of the creepier but chic options I’ve found in some of my favorite stores.
- Skeleton Hand Double Old Fashion Glass
- Skeleton Hand Stemless Wine Glass
- Life-Size Indoor/Outdoor Mr. Bones Skeleton
- Black Buri Spider
- Large Black Mercury Glass Skull
candle light for ambiance
I love to switch up my candles for fall and bring out seasonal scents like pumpkin and caramel apple. The Two-Toned Black Glass Candles are super chic and perfect to add to your Halloween decor. I also love the Brass Skull Votive Candle Holder for adding a bit of warmth to your decor.
I’m currently trying to figure out how to incorporate the Harry Potter Floating String Lights into our home. We are big Potter fans and I love the idea of this.
I think the Patch NYC Kitty Candle is adorable but I scooped up their skull version to add to my home this year. It’s currently mixed in with the decor on my dining room table shown below but I may switch this up.

Pumpkins
You gotta have pumpkins when putting together your Halloween decor and these you can use year after year. The Antiqued Glass Pumpkins are beautiful and come in 5 different sizes and finishes. My favorite finishes are copper, rose gold, antiqued white, and whitewashed.
I love the simplicity of the black Blair Pumpkins but I’m also a sucker for the blue and white Chinoiserie Pumpkins. So unique and super chic.

Florals
Looking for a wreath for your front door? Check out these 3 that caught my eye. I love the simplicity of the Black Branch Wreath. They also had Black Branch Garland in store that you could use as a table runner or on your mantle. You can see both pictured below.
- Artificial Black Branch Wreath
- Preserved Sweet Annie + Echinops Wreath
- Preserved Corn Husk Wreath
Also, I’m a huge fan of using fresh florals in my home, and fall is no different. In fact, I consider them to be one of my home decor essential items. If you’re looking for an option you can use year after year, check out these dried and preserved varieties.
I LOVE the Floral Fragrance Jar. They’re inspired by nature and come in a variety of sizes and scents. They’re stunning to look at and are such a cool way to bring in the seasonal colors of fall.
