It’s that time of year! Summer is coming to an end. Kids are heading back to school and the adults are buckling down after a crazy summer. While it seems some are able to return to school and work in person, many are heading into fall still working and studying remotely. If you’re like us, you made do with what you had around the house. Using the dining room table or sofa as a desk to create a makeshift home office.
As it became more apparent that my husband would be home for the unforeseeable future, we decided to get serious about creating a home office. Working originally from our dining room table, Mike moved to our guest bedroom after I was laid off where it was quieter. We moved some things around and carved out a little space for him. Moving a small desk we had into the room for him. It’s been fine in a pinch but he needs something bigger for the long haul.
As we hunt for a desk that will work for our home office, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite finds in case you are in need of one too!

BEDLINGTON DESK / TUPELO DINING TABLE / BLOOMFIELD DESK / KELLEY DESK
INVESTMENT DESKS: $$$
All of these desks are over $1000 but the style, function, and beauty they bring to any home office make them worth it.
These statement pieces would bring joy to the daily grind of work. The Peekaboo Acrylic, Reid Oval, and Palms desks are all timeless and trending. I also love the Atwood Reclaimed Wood desk. It features a single, long, open shelf on the reverse perfect for styling with a stack of books or a small vase. This desk would be beautiful floated in the center of a room where the styled shelf was visible as you walked in.
